For the base:
Combine flour, salt, sugar and yeast in a large mixing bowl. Add oil to water and add slowly to dough to give you a dough that is soft but not sticky.
It's better if the dough is slightly wet than dry. On a lightly floured surface knead dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
Place dough in a lightly oiled plastic bag and leave in a warm place untill dough doubles in size. Knock back dough by kneading again for a couple of minutes.
For the topping:
Divide dough into quarters. Roll into a round shape. Place onto greased baking trays, spread with tomato sauce. Top with red pepper and finish off with salami and mushroom slices.
Sprinkle over cheese and bake in a preheated oven of 200° C for 10-15 minutes. Garnish with basil.
