Quick Beer Bread


  • 750 ml Sasko Bran Enriched Self-Raising Flour
  • 5 ml Mixed dried herbs
  • 45 ml Sugar
  • 400 g can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 350 ml can beer


Sift flour and add herbs, sugar and corn. Gradually add the beer mixing well to bring the dough together. Turn into a greased 23cm x 13cm loaf pan and bake at 180˚C for 60 minutes.

Cool for 5 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack. This bread is best eaten soon after it is made.

Makes 1 loaf.
