Quick Beer Bread
Ingredients
750 ml Sasko Bran Enriched Self-Raising Flour
5 ml Mixed dried herbs
45 ml Sugar
400 g can whole kernel corn, drained
350 ml can beer
Method
Sift flour and add herbs, sugar and corn. Gradually add the beer mixing well to bring the dough together. Turn into a greased 23cm x 13cm loaf pan and bake at 180˚C for 60 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack. This bread is best eaten soon after it is made.
Makes 1 loaf.
