Oriental Noodle & Vegetable Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • Sunflower or nut oil

  • 500 g Frozen Oriental stir-fry

  • 400 g Ready-cooked Japanese Udon Noodles

  • 250 ml 5-spice barbecue sauce

  • 30 ml Japanese-style soy sauce

  • A few drops toasted sesame oil (optional)

Directions


  • Using a little oil, cook the stir-fry as directed in a wok or pan. Remove from heat and keep vegetables warm in a mixing bowl.
  • Add a little more oil to the same pan and stir-fry the noodles for a minute. Add to vegetables. Pour the barbecue and soy sauce into the pan and cook rapidly until reduced and thickened. 
  • Return vegetables and noodles to pan and toss until mixed. Serve sprinkled with a few drops of toasted sesame oil.

    Serves 6
